When receiving multicast video, it seems that WV-ASM100 cannot identify streams with only DST ports. Is it necessary to change the multicast address as well? [WV-ASM100]

Answer

No, it is not necessary. Streams can be identified as long as the combination of multicast IPA and the port is unique. However, to maintain the uniqueness, the network switch must be configured to conform to IGMP Version 3. Therefore, it is common to change the multicast address.
